ABout the Artist, Linda Ryan

Linda Ryan of Linda Ryan Designs, and signing her work as L.Ryan has recently returned to being a Maui Artist, after 20 years in beautiful Santa Barbara, California. She is excited to be back on Maui where she and her husband Ricky lived from 1973-1990.

Linda began painting in earnest in 1995, studying with Rick Stich, Ken Auster, Micheal Drury, and James Armstrong. Her Linda Ryan Designs greeting card line gained wide acceptance, each card being a frameable piece of art in itself. She became known for custom and corporate card designs, including unique invitations and Christmas cards. Her larger original oil and watercolor paintings have earned various awards and are collected by individuals and businesses.

L.Ryan is the featured artist for all the Habit Restaurants across the country. Large scale prints of her art are focal points in the Habit restaurants, and prints of these are available to interested parties. Click on page called Habit Prints. Linda is excited to be a Maui artist again, painting Maui landscapes, cloudscapes and figurative pieces in this new chapter of life.
